  Married: The marriage of Miss Marianne Mabee of 424 East Fifty-second Street, daughter of Mrs. William E. Mabee of Los Angeles and the late Dr. Mabee, to George Boles McManus took place yesterday afternoon in the Church of the Transfiguration. The Rev. Dr. Randolph Ray, the recotor, performed the ceremony The bride was attended by Mrs. Arthur Hopkins of this city. John A. McManus was best man for his brother, who is a son of Mrs. John H. McManus of Greenwich and the late Mr. McManus. A small reception followed at the bride's home. After a wedding trip to Washington, the couple will live at 424 East Fifty-second Street. The bride is a soprano and has sung in churches and over the radio. Mr. McManus is connected with the Central Hanover Bank in this city. Divorced: Marian Mabee McManus of Greenwich, identified in court as the singing star of a Sunday night radio broadcast, was granted alimony of $1 a year against her ex-husband, Lt. Cmdr. George B. McManus, of Washington, D. C., in superior court here today. She was granted a divorce from McManus here Friday.
