- Services for William Carroll Mabie, 25, of 9850 SW 46th St., a brush salesman turned holdup man, will be at 8 p. m. today at Va Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel. Place of burial has not been decided.
Ralph Rex, an off duty North Miami policeman, shot and killed Mabie Sunday when the latter failed to halt after holding up two cashiers at Tyler's Restaurant, 12395 Biscayne Blvd.
Mabie came here in 1950 from the Canal Zone. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Floann Mabie, a daughter, Linda Elizabeth, 7½, two sons, William Russell, 5, and James Allen, 3; his parents, Col. And Mrs Russell Mabie, Coral Gables.
