- John B. Dodge, clerk of the Town of Beekman, died Saturday night after a short illness.
The funeral will be held the afternoon from the Beekman Baptist church. Burial will be in Beekman cemetery, Poughquag.
Mr Dodge is survived by his wife, Estelle, three daughters, Bernice, Sorrine and Emily and a sor Earl.

- Bernice Dodge, 77, a former Beekman Town Clerk, died Friday, December 21 at St Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie. Miss Dodge had been a school teacher at LaGrange School for 44 years until her retirement in 1973. She was the Beekman town clerk from 1933-46, a member of the Beekman Recreation Committee, the Beekman Historical Society, the Beekman Library Association, the Beekman Senior Citizens, the Union Vale Senior Citizens Association, and the New York State Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Poughquag where she was an honorary steward. Born in Pawling on December 9, 1907, she was the daughter of John B. and Estelle Mabie Dodge. She attended SUNY at New Paltz. Survivors include a brother, Earl C Dodge, Beekman; a sister, Emily Benson of Dover Plains; four nieces, a grandniece, three grandnephews; an aunt and several cousins.

- Emily Dodge Benson, 92, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY died on February 18, 2015 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mrs. Benson and her husband owned and operated Benson Dairy Farm in Dover Plains, NY for over 40 years.
Born on October 28, 1922 in Beekman, NY she was the daughter of the late John B. and Estelle (Mabie) Dodge. Mrs. Benson attended Beekman No. 5 School and was a Pawling High School graduate class of 1941. She also attended Krissler Business School in Poughkeepsie, NY. On March 25, 1945 at the Baptish Church in Beekman, NY she married Lewis A. Benson who survives at home. Mrs. Benson and her husband had the pleasure of extensive travel throughout the country and Europe.
Mrs. Benson was a former matron of the Eastern Star, a member of the J.H. Ketcham Hose Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Dover United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Stone Church Grange, the Dover Ladies Bowling League and the Pawling Square dancing group. She also enjoyed picnics, especially at the "cabin" and the ocean. Mrs. Benson was also an avid reader.
In addition to her loving husband of 69 years, Mrs. Benson is survived by four daughters, Candace Dodge Benson of Larchmont, NY, Faye Garito and her husband, John of Poughquag, NY, Melanie LaPierre and her husband, James of Dover Plains, NY and Heather Manning and her husband, Thomas of Pleasant Valley, NY and a sister-in-law, Fannie Benson Telfer of Pleasant Valley, NY. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Michael LaPierre, Ryan Manning, Christopher Garito and Kimberlee Manning Hicks and one great-grandson, John Chianfagna, III.
Besides her parents, Mrs .Benson was predeceased by her sisters, Bernice Fowler Dodge and Florine Dodge Telfer and a brother, Earl Clarence Dodge.
Calling hours will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Rout 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Dover United Methodist Church, 26 Mill St. Dover Plains, NY. - Earl C. Dodge, a lifelong resident of Beekman, died February 5, 2007 at Sharon Health Care Center, Sharon, CT. He was 94. He had worked as a Dairy Farmer, owning and operating his family farm for many years in Beekman. He was a Charter Member of Beekman Fire Company, Beekman, NY. He also belonged to Dover Plains United Methodist Church, Dover Plains, NY. Born Feb. 23, 1912 in Beekman, he was the son of Estelle Mabie and John B. Dodge. He was a graduate of Arlington High School, Poughkeepsie. Survivors include a sister, Emily D. Benson and brother-in-law, Lewis A. of Dover Plains, NY; four nieces, Candace D. Benson, Faye B. Garito, Melanie B. LaPierre and Heather B. Manning; three grandnephews, and one grandniece; one great great nephew and several cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Florine D. Telfer and Bernice F. Dodge
