- Mrs Helen J Mabee, 64, of 68 West St, Warwick, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home.
Born in McAfee, NJ, Oct 26, 1901, she was the daughter of Charles B and Savillia Rude Sammis. She married Harvey R Mabee.
A housewife, she has been an area resident for 40 years. She was affiliated with the Bellvale Methodist Church and active in the W.S.C.S. of that church.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs Herbert M Wood of Warwick; five sisters, Mrs Lenard Schultz of Pine Island, Mrs Ralph VanBlarcom of Vernon, NJ, Mrs Jerry Donnell of Hamburg, NJ, Mrs Fred Vliespra of Middletown, and Mrs David Bensen of Vernon; three brothers, Charles J Sammis of Highland Lakes, NJ, Leo and Linn Sammis of McAfee, NJ, two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday at 2 from the Lazear Funeral Home, Warwick, the Rev L Vanderhill officiating. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery.
