  	Virginia Ruth Mabee Michalowski, 86, of Sanford, FL passed away peacefully on August 17, 2014. She was born October 6, 1927 in Edmondton, Alberta, Canada to the late Omri and Arlene Mabee. In 1933 she moved to Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, graduating from Sudbury High School in 1945. Upon graduation she moved to Meriden CT to join the Army Nurse Corps and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1948. In 1967 she moved her family to Sanford, where she was Administrator of Lakeview Nursing Center, retiring in 1992. She is survived by her children, Pamela Nutt, Susan (Kieth) Denton, Peter Michalowski, Catherine (Bill) Wilcox, Karen (Dave) Malloy, Charles (Sondra) Michalowski, Cynthia (James) Strollo, Edward (Patricia) Michalowski, Daniel Michalowski, sisters Jeanne Sparing, Shirley McPhail, 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Baldwin-Fairchild Oaklawn Chapel.
