  	After a lengthy battle with cancer, Blane Mabee entered into rest at the North York General Hospital on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Survived by his beloved wife Eleanor of Sunderland. Also 7 children and their spouses, 35 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Predeceased by 1 great granddaughter. Friends are invited to call at the Thorne Funeral Home, 98 River Street in Sunderland, on Thursday, August 27th from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Service in St. Andrews United Church, 10 Church Street in Sunderland, on Friday, August 28th, 2015 at 11:00 am. Reverend Les Hills presiding. Interment Sunderland Cemetery. As a remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
