(Kennedy) Mabey, formerly of Berlin Ave. died Monday, (January 22, 2007) at Southington Care Center. She was the widow of Cornelius Mabey. She was born in Southington, the daughter of the late James F. and Mary Alice (Corcoran) Kennedy. She was employed as a secretary at Peck, Stow and Wilcox Co and retired as a secretary from S.N.E.T after 28 years of service. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church, a member of the Isabella Council of Catholic Woman, a member of the Southington Grange, the Choir Group at the Calendar House the SNET Pioneers, she was also secretary of the YMCA seniors. She is survived by a nephew, Thomas J. Murphy and his wife Lorraine of Plantsville; two nieces Lorraine Ziegler RN and her husband Dr. Edmund Ziegler of New Britain and Sharon Ann Kennedy of Southington; a sister-in-law Barbara L. Kennedy; grand nieces and nephews, Suzanne Ghiloni, Thomas F. Ziegler, Kevin T. Ziegler, Mary Carpenter, Philip, James and Mark Ziegler; and a dear friend Ruth Leahy. She was predeceased by two brothers, James F. Kennedy and Raphael C. Kennedy; two sisters, Alice W. Kennedy and Florence C. Murphy; a nephew, Jay Kennedy and a grand nephew Francis Ziegler.
