- The funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor Mabee, 44, wife of Harold Mabee, were held at the Nunda Funeral Home Monday afternoon, September 21, at two-thirty o'clock. She leaves, beside her husband, a daughter, Eleanor; three sisters, Mrs. James Dougherty, of Los Angeles, Mrs. Florence Ganne and Miss Belle Ashman, of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; four brothers, William Pakenhan and Percy Ashman, of Moose Jaw, Ontario, Canada, George and Albert Ashman, of Los Angeles. The Eastern Star attended the services in a body. Burial was made in Oakwood

- Mr. Harold Mabee of Iroquois Road, Caledonia, died June 6, 1978 in the Avon Nursing Home at the age of 88.
Canadian by birth, he had lived in this area for many years. He had been a staff attendant at Craig Colony and lived in Geneseo until a few years ago. He was active in the Masonic Lodge there.
Surviving are his wife Florence; one son, Richard, Spencerport; one daughter. Eleanor Schneck, Florida; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Friends called at the Albert Funeral Home on Main Street, Caledonia, where a Masonic service was held Thursday and funeral services on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment was in Mumford Rural Cemetery. Contributions to the United Presbyterian Stone Church in Caledonia will be appreciated

- Eleanor "Ellie" (Mabee) Schneck, Strasburg, PA: 84, formerly of Longwood, FL passed away on Nov. 10, 2011 at home.
Ellie graduated from Nunda Central School in NY, attended USC and Monroe Community College in Rochester earning a nursing degree. She practiced nursing at General Hospital and Allstate Ins. Co in Rochester and Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL.
Ellie and her husband have been members of the Nazarene Church since 1950. Ellie's greatest love in life was her family and her passion was to share her love for the Lord with all those around her through her life and actions. Travel was also a lifelong passion.
Survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James E. Schneck; her children: Bonnie (Dan) Murphy, Duxbury, MA, Jim (Felicity) Schneck, Spring Hill, FL, and Laurie (Steve) Chambers, Strasburg, PA; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Wed., Nov. 16, 6-9 pm, at the Funeral Home of Alvah Halloran & Son, 2125 Chili Ave. Funeral, Thurs., Nov. 17, 10 am, Calvary Community Church of the Nazarene, 4045 E. Henrietta Rd., Henrietta. Rev. John Schneck officiating. Internment 2:30 pm, Hunt Hollow Cemetery, Portage, NY. Memorial contributions in Ellie's honor may be made to Calvary Church of the Nazarene, 750 Roger Williams Rd., Apopka, FL 32703.
