- Napanee March 12. A sudden death - Sad was the news received here last evening the death of one of our respected townsmen, Georg E Maybee. Deceased left on the noon train Tuesday for Montreal where he was traveling for the Dominion Soap company of Hamilton. After working hard all day he returned to his hotel and went to his room . He complained of feeling slightly ill and wrote a note home which was received before the announcement of his death. He was in his 64th year, Besides his wife he leaves to mourn are his three sons, Frederick of Morrisburg, Clayton and William at home. Clayton left for Montreal to escort his remains home.
