- John Mabee died at 3:40 o'clock, this morning, at the home of his sister, Mrs Helen Hunt [sister Hester], on Greenwich Street, this village [Goshen]. He was seventy-seven years old and had been in failing health for some time, but did not take to bed until Wednesday. Besides Mrs Hunt, a brother and sister survive, whose homes are in Michigan.
The funeral will be held Monday at 10 a.m., at his late residence. Interment in the family plot on the homestead farm, near the Goshen reservoir.
