  	He was born Feb 28, 1881 in Smith Creek and was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired employee of the Earl Smith Trucking Company. Mr Mabee married Caroline M Crull Oct 20, 1906. He is survived by his widow; a son, Loren E Mabee, Port Huron and two sisters, Mrs Hazel McIntosh, Detroit, and Mrs Ethel Russell, Armada; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, conducted by Rev Gaylord H Brunnell, assistant pastor of First United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.

  	Port Huron – Carrie M Mabee, 93, formerly of Fort Street and Glenwood Avenue, died today in St Clair Medical Center after a short illness. She was born July 26, 1883 in Armada, and was a lifelong Port Huron resident. She married Issac L Mabee Oct 21, 1907 in Port Huron. He died July 27, 1967. Mrs Mabee was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by a son, Loren E Mabee, Marysville; two sisters, Mrs Clayton (Nellie) Harbaugh, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs William (Florence) Campbell, Armada. Services will be Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev J Alton Cressman of First United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.
