- Sharon R. Maybee, 38, passed away unexpectedly Monday night, Nov. 16, 2009, at Ashtabula County Medical Center, Ashtabula. She was born Oct. 15, 1971, in Warren, a daughter of Jesse and Sandra Kocis Maybee.
Sharon was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Kinsman. She enjoyed flea markets, crafts and scrapbooking.
She is survived by her parents, Jesse and Sandra Maybee of Burghill; a brother, Michael (Stephanie) Maybee of Hubbard; two nieces and a nephew, Lauren, Olivia and Andrew Maybee of Hubbard; and her maternal grandmother, Helen Louise Kocis of Burghill.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Claire and Blanche Potter and Jesse and Rita Maybee; and her maternal grandfather, Andrew Kocis.
Friends and relatives may call 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Galloway-Onstott Funeral Home, 3451 state Route 7, Hartford. A funeral Mass will be held 2 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church, Kinsman, preceded by a brief prayer service 1:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Bazetta Township.

- George Ryle Maybee of Sharon passed away at 2:06 p.m. Thursday, April 20, 2017, in his residence, following an extended illness. He was 67.
Mr. Maybee was born Jan. 31, 1950, in Sharon, a son of Jess and Myrtle Sprow Maybee. He attended Howland (Ohio) High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
George retired as a draftsman in 1999 from T. Bruce Sales, West Middlesex, where he was employed for 30 years.
He attended Victory Christian Center, Coitsville, Ohio.
An outdoorsman, George loved hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed bowling and golfing, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving are his wife, the former Randy E. Brannon, whom he married Jan. 29, 1984; four daughters, Kathleen Huff of West Middlesex, Georgia Maybee of Sharon, Jennifer Maybee of Hermitage and Lori Hivner and her husband, Douglas, of Hubbard; a son, Timothy Alfonsi and his fiancee, Delrena Deans, of Sharon; three sisters, Marilyn Barker of Georgia, Betty Lloyd of Florida and Darla Martin of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; and three brothers, Jess Maybee and his wife, Sandra, of Hartford, Ohio, Elton Maybee and his wife, Nancy, of Niles, Ohio, and Rick Maybee and his wife, Linda, of Austintown, Ohio. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
George was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Monica Koewacich.
