- Mrs Mary M. Mabee there passed away this morning at her home in Fall River. Mrs Mary Mabee widow of the late William F. Mabee of Halifax. Mrs Mabee, who before her marriage was Mary M. Maclean of Halifax was 71 years of age She is survived by four daughters & two sons - Florence - Mrs J. E. Milton of Lynn Mass.. Nellie - Mrs William H. Crooks of Wheeling West Virginia. Charlot1e (Lottie) - Mrs Fred MacDonald of Fall River. Pearl - Mrs W. .L. Leedham of Windsor Junction. Sons Frank C. Mabee of Lynn Mass. & William H. Mabee, now overseas with the Canadian Army. Also surviving are three sisters, Laura - Mrs M. L. Edwards of Lynn Mass.. Ada - Mrs Edward Simms of Hubbards N.S. & Miss Ethel MacLean of Halifax N.S. -a number of grand children & great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at her late residence in Fall River, June 09 1943 at 2 P.M, Rev A. E. Gabriel will officiate- interment will be at Saint John s Cemetery Halifax.

- William Howard (Bid) Mabee 68 of Holland Road Fletchers Lake died at his home Monday 13 April 1 970. Born in Halifax he was the son of the late William & Mary (MacLean) Mabee. He was a veteran of the Second World War. Surviving are his wife the former Frances Berggern. Five daughters, Edith - Mrs Lorne Paul of Greenwood, Mary - Mrs Aubrey Joudrey of Fletchers Lake, Ruth - Mrs George Best of Kensington PEI. , Shirley - Mrs Douglas Meisner of W1ndsor Jct., Patricia - Mrs Murry Weisshaar Thompson Man. One son William in Germany. Three sisters Florence Mrs James Milton, Lynn Mass, Charloite Mrs Fred Macdonald Fall River, Pearl Mrs Bert Leedham Clinton Connecticut. 24 grand children . the body is at R. D. Lindsay Funeral Home Bedford. Funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Saint Margarets of Scotlnd Anglican Church Rev. H.S. Corbin officiating. Interment in church cemetery.

- Pearl M. Leedham, who operated a Clinton clothing store for many years, died Thursday at Connecticut Hospice in Branford at the age of 82.
She was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and lived in Clinton since 1951. For the past 30 years she owned and operated Leedham's Ladies and Children Wear in Clinton.
Leedham lived at 32 E. Main St, Clinton, and was the widow of William L. Leedham.
Besides her son Don F. Leedham of Regina Saskatchewan, Canada, she leaves two daughters; Ruby Fowler of Castine, Maine and Marjorie Drager of Old Saybrook, 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at the Swan Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in Indian River Cemetery, Clinton. (Col1)
