Roy R Mabee, 62, died yesterday at Dover General Hospital following a short illness.He was born in Johnsonburg and moved to Dover 36 years ago from Newton.
 Mr Mabee was a solderer at Co-operative Industries, Chester, for 27 years before retiring in 1952.
 He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in Europe.
 Surviving are his wife, Vera; three sons, Roy R. J., Newton, Michael J, Danville, and Jeffery M, Rockaway; a daughter Susan Vontetzlaff, Budd Lake; four brothers, Charles C, Morris Plains, Ira A, Stanhope, James L, Sparta, and Wilfred L, Mine Hill; a sister, Eva E Washer, Branchville; and five grandchildren

Ira A Mabee died on Sunday at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton after a short illness. He was 81.Born in Warwick, NY, he lived in Stanhope for 52 years before moving to Hackettstown two years ago.
 He served in the Army during World War II and received the American Defense Service Medal and the Asiatic Pacific Medal
 He was an explosives operator at Hercules Powder Works in Kenvil for 27 years before retiring in 1968.
 He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Lakeland Post 2347 in Netcong and was an avid fisherman.
 He is survived by his wife, Malvane (Francisco); his son Ira A Jr of Randolph, three daughters, Judith Deeds of Rockaway Township, Lorraine Lepre of Johnsonburg, and Sandra Heiney of Allentown, Pa; two brothers, James of Frankford Township and Wilfred of Mine Hill Township, a sister Eva Washer of Frankford Township; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
