- William E Mabee, seventy three, died Saturday at his home in the Town of Goshen after an illness of two weeks. He was born in Vernon Township, NJ, June twenty-seventh, 1859, a son of Collins and Eliza Mabee. He married Miss Nettie Kimble in September, 1883.
Mr Mabee was a resident of Goshen for forty-four, and a member of the Presbyterian Church of Denton.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs Ferris Quackenbush of Florida; two sons, Harry Mabee of Goshen, and Donald K. Mabee of Greenville, and six grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs Hannah Doremus of Paterson and Mrs William J. Rowe of New Haven, Conn., and four brothers, James L Mabee of Florida, Elmer C Mabee of Warwick, Abram P Mabee of Middletown and John ER Mabee of Bellevale and a half brother, John Mills of Franklin, NJ, also are living.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at one-thirty at the home with the Rev E. Van Dyke Wight officiating. Interment will be at Warwick Cemetery.

- Farries Ray Quackenbush of Campbell Hall, Orange, New York, born April 1, 1887 in Florida, New York, registered for the draft. He was employed by the County Of Orange, Goshen, NY. The person who would always know his address was his wife Mrs Harriet Quackenbush at the same address. He was White, 5' 9", 160 pounds, had hazel eyes, gray hair, and a ruddy complexion.

- Mrs Nettie Kimble Mabee, a resident of this vicinity fifty years, died today in the Middletown Sanitarium after a long illness. Her home was in the Town of Goshen
Mrs Mabee was born in Vernon, NJ, September tenth 1868, a daughter of David and Rachel Baily Kimble. Her husband William E Mabee died in 1933. She was a member of the Denton Presbyterian Church.
Mrs Mabee leaves a daughter, Mrs F R Quackenbush of Middletown; two sons Harry of the Town of Goshen and Donald K of South Westerlo, eight grandchildren; also a sister Miss Amelia Kimble of Goshen, and three brothers Albert Kimble of Middletown, Richard of Branchville and Palmer of Franklin, NJ.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at two p. m. at the VanViet Chapel here by Rev T W B Masman. Interment will be in Warwick Cemetery

- Gorden E Quackenbush, 50, of Westtown, died Sunday at his home.
Born in Goshen, Oct 5, 1917, he was the son of Ferries and Hattie Mabee Quackenbush. He married Jean Kurtz in 1946.
A life-long resident of Orange County, he was a shop foreman for Marco Products, Inc., of Middletown.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Eric, at home; His parents, Mr and Mrs Ferries Quackenbush of Ocoee, Fla; one brother, Robert of Newburgh.
Funeral services will be at 2 Wednesday at the Garfield Vanderburgh Funeral Home, Florida with the Rev G Hartman of Westtown Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family
