- Chilleon Mabee, a farmer died yesterday at his home in Vernon Township
Mr Mabee was born in Vernon Township April ninth, 1884, a son of James and Ella L. Williams Mabee. He was married to Ella Simms August thirtieth, 1905.
He leaves his wife, his stepmother, the former Mary Riggs; and the following children: Mrs Emma Drew of Franklin, NY, Mrs Jennie Fredericks of Port Jervis; Arnold, Melvin and Walter at home; Mrs Beatrice Stalcup of Plainsboro, NJ, and Mrs Alice Fredericks of Greenwood Lake.
Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Blanche Barrett and Mrs Bessie Barrett of New Milford; and the following half-brothers and half-sisters; Melvin of Edenville, Varney of Warwick, Edward of Grenwood, Mrs Anna Cathy of Chester, Mrs Ethel Smith and Mrs Katherinf Mathews of Florida.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at two p.m. at the Strong Funeral Home, with the Rev Seely Quackenbush officiating. Interment will be at Warwick Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday evening.

She was born in New York City on May 2, 1887, the daughter of John and Ellen Heskith Simms and was married to Chilleon Mabee, who pre-deceased her.
She is survived by three sons, Melvin and Arnold of McAfee, Walter of Greenwood Lake; four daughters, Mrs Emma Drew of Clifton NJ, Mrs Jennie Decker of Port Jervis, Mrs Beatrice Stalcup of Plainsboro, NJ, and Mrs Alice Fredericks of Greenwood Lake; Nineteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren

- Mrs Etta T Thomas Mabee, Lake Street, Greenwood Lake, died Wednesday at St Anthony Hospital, Warwick.
She was born in New York City on May 2, 1887, the daughter of John and Ellen Heskith Simms and was married to Chilleon Mabee, and had lived in greenwood Lake for 10 years . Previously she lived in McAfee, NJ.
She leaves three sons, Melvin and Arnold of McAfee, Walter of Greenwood Lake; four daughters, Mrs Emma Drew of Clifton NJ, Mrs Jennie Decker of Port Jervis, Mrs Beatrice Stalcup of Plainsboro, NJ, and Mrs Alice Fredericks of Greenwood Lake; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 Saturday at the Strong Funeral Home, Oak Street, Greenwood Lake The Rev James Harrison will officiate. Interment will be in Warwick Cemetery

- Funeral services were held Monday at the. Strong Funeral Home .in Warwick for Arnold Mabee, Sr., who died in St. Barnabus Hospital in Livingston, New Jersey on April 7.
Mr. Mabee wàs born to Chilleon and Etta (Simms) Mabee in Warwick on June 12, 1911. He had lived in Warwick for 20 years. He was the husband of Fannie (Gardepe) Mabee
He had been a .factory worker at the Ames Rubber Company in Hamburg, New Jersey.
Mr. Mabee is survived by his wife; sons, Arnold Jr.,of Vernon, N. J„ and James of McAfee, 3 :daughters; Mrs Catherine Edsall of McAfee, Mrs. Margaret Decker of Vernon Valley Lake, N J; and Mrs Barbara Gunderman of Franklin, N. J.; .2 brothers, Melvin of McAfee and Walter of Greenwood Lake; 4 sisters, Mrs Emma McHugh of Clifton, N.J., Mrs. Jennie Decker of Port Jervis, Mrs. Beatrice Stalcup of Plainsboro, N. J., and Mrs. Alice Fredericks of Greenwood Lake.
Interment in the Warwick Cemetery.

- Jennie E. Decker, 72, of Franklin St., Port Jervis, died Monday at her home.
Mrs. Decker, a resident of the area for most of her life, was born June 4, 1907, in New Jersey, to Chilleon and Etta Mabee. She was the widow of Burt Decker.
Survivors include four sons: William T. Fredricks of Eldred; Floyd H. Fredricks and Clifford Fredricks, both of Port Jervis; Samuel Fredricks of Pond Eddy; a daughter, Dorothy Shaw of Port Jervis; two brothers: Melvin Mabee of McAfee, N.J.; and Walter Mabee of Greenwood Lake; three sisters: Alice Fredricks of Greenwood Lake; Emma McHugh of Newton, N.J.; and Beatrice Stalcup of Trenton, N.J.; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Gray Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard V. Coffill will officiate.
Burial will be in Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville.

The son of the late Chilleon Mabee and Etta Simms Mabee, he was born Aug 28, 1927 in Warwick. He was a widower of Emily Mabee and a member of the Greenwood Lake Ambulance Corps and the Greenwood Lake Fire Department.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Bailey of Greenwood Lake; two sisters, Alice Fredericks of Greenwood Lake and Beatrice Stalcup of Brooksville, Fla; one granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.

- Services were held Tuesday, June 23 for Alice L. Fredericks of Greenwood Lake, a retired ward clerk at Orange County Infirmary, Goshen, and a lifelong area resident, who died Saturday, June 20, at St. Anthony Community Hospital. She was 66.
Born March 6, 1926 in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Chilleon and Etta Simms Mabee and the widow of Lester Fredericks Sr. She w as a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Greenwood Lake.
Fredericks is survived by one son, Lester Fredericks Jr. of Greenwood Lake; one daughter, Carol Long of Goshen; one sister, Beatrice Stalcup of Brooksville, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
Burial was in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick.
