- Ira Mabee of Middletown, a retired baker for Clover Knoll Farms, Hamptonburgh, and a lifelong resident of the area, died Sunday, March 19, at home. He was 75.
The son of the late Nicholas and Clara Mulhair Mabee, he was born June 23, 1919, in Hamptonburgh.
He was a World War II Army veteran; treasurer for the D S Burrows Disabled American Veterans Chapter 5; and member of American Legion Post 151, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5523, the First Presbyterian Church of Middletown, and the Woodmen of the World 381.
Survivors include his wife, Joan E Warren Mabee, at home; three daughters, Margaret Brown of Bloomingburg, Mary Callan of West Havershaw, and Janice Perez of Monticello; three sons, Russell Mabee of Georgia, Ira J Mabee of Boynton Beach, Fla, and Charles Mabee, at home; four sisters, Margaret Lattimer of Goshen, Mary Johnson of New Paltz, Jean Kamrowski of Warwick, and Myrilda Lisack of Goshen; one brother Mike Mulhair of Guilford; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

- Mrs Clara Mulhair, 67, of route 416 Montgomery, died Wednesday at Goshen Hospital following a long illness.
She was born in 1899 in Howells, the daughter of Wilbur and Myrilda Spears Edwards and was married to Edward Mulhair, who survives.
Mrs Mulhair was a resident of Montgomery for the past four years, and was a member of the St James Episcopal Church in Goshen, the Otisville Grange and the Harmony Club of Middletown.
Besides her husband, Mrs Mulhair is survived by three sons, Nicholas Mabee, Goshen, Ira Mabee and Wilbur Mulhair, both of Middletown; four daughters, Mrs Margaretta Lattimer and Myrida Lisack, both of Goshen, Mrs Mary Joshson, Hamptonburgh, and Mrs Jean Kamrowski of Pine Island; one brother, Ralph Edwards of Hamptonburgh; 28 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the St James Episcopal Church in Goshen, the Reverend Kenneth Waldron officiating. Burial was in the Wallkill Cemetery in Phillipsburgh under the direction of the Schmick Funeral Home

- Eugene T Mulhair of Main Street, Washingtonville, a retired dairy farmer and a lifelong area resident, died Monday, July 25, at Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen, after a long illness. He was 79.
The son of the late George and Mary Ellen Perdue Mulhair, he was born July 12, 1909, in Otisville. The widower of Clara Edwards Mulhair, he was also a retired school bus driver for the Washingtonville School District.
Survivors include three sons, Mike Mulhair of Guilford, Nicholas Mabee of Goshen and Ira Mabee of Middletown; four daughters, Margaret Lattimer and Myrilda Lisack, both of Goshen, Mary Johnson of New Paltz and Jean Kamrowski of Warwick; one brother George Mulhair of Middletown; 21 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today (Wed, July 27) at the Lippincott Funeral Chapel, Goshen.
Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg

- Elbert G. Lattimer of John Drive, Goshen, a retired police officer with the Village of Goshen Police Department and a lifelong area resident, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen. He was 79.
The son of the late Robinson and Gertrude Sloat Lattimer, he was born December 4,1911, in Goshen.
Mr. Lattimer was a member of St. James's Episcopal Church, Goshen; the Goshen Masonic Lodge 365, Free and Accepted Masons; the Middletown Elks Lodge 1097; the Orange County Peace Officers Association and the Orange and Ulster Baseball League. He was also a retired bus driver for the Gosheri School District
Survivors include his wife, Margaretta C. Mabee Lattimer, at home; four sons, Robinson G. Lattimer of Warwick, Frank E. Lattimer of Valley Stream, E. Roger Lattimer of West Winfield and C. Alan Lattimer of Goshen; two sisters, Susie Haver of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Bessie Vavricka of Clearwater,Fla.; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was at Lippincott Funeral Chapel, 107 Murray Ave., Goshen. .
Services were held at S t James's Episcopal Church, Goshen. The Rev. Carol Pinkham officiated.
Burial was in Wallkill Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
