- Clarence D Mabee, 71, of 12 Maple Ave, Florida, died Saturday in Middletown after a long illness.
Born in Goshen, May 1, 1897, the son of Nicholas and Henrietta La Due, he was married to Anna Milburn, Dec 5, 1918. He is a retired carpenter and a lifelong resident of the area.
Besides his wife at home, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs Elsie Scott of Warwick, and Mrs Marjorie Kowalczyk of Florida; two brothers, Nicholas of Goshen and Alonzo of Florida; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at I today from his residence, with the Rev Edwards Newbury of the Florida Presbyterian Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Florida Cemetery, Florida

- Anna C Mabee of Florida, a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, Jan 28, in Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen, after a short illness. She was 84
The daughter of the late Whitfield and Catherine Krouse Milburn, she was born April 10, 1899 in Goshen. The widow of Clarence Mabee, Mrs Mabee was a member of the Florida Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Elsie Scott of Stuart, Fla and Marjorie Kowalczyk of Florida, three brothers, Whitfield Milburn, John Milburn, and Clarence Milburn, all of Goshen; a sister, Lolly Bradford of Middletown; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Vanderburgh Funeral Home in Florida. Burial will be in Florida Cemetery, Florida.

- Marjorie Kowalczyk of Florida, NY, a retired Night Shift Nursing Supervisor at Arden Hill Hospital, Goshen, entered into rest on Sunday, January 22, 2012. She was 90.
The daughter of the late Clarence & Anna Milburn Mabee, she was born on September 25, 1921 in Goshen, NY.
Survivors include her son, Gary Kowalczyk and wife, Carolyn DuPuy; daughter, JoAnn Schultz and husband, Robert; daughter, Ann Marie Kowalczyk and companion, Mike Yelton; son, Richard Kowalczyk and wife, Mary; son, Ronald Kowalczyk and companion, Irene Stathes; grandchildren, Jason Schultz and wife, Katrina, David Schultz, Philip and Ricky Kowalczyk. She was predeceased by her husband, George "Whitey" Kowalczyk and a sister, Elsie Scott.
Funeral services will be held privately.
