- He was born Feb 28, 1881 in Smith Creek and was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired employee of the Earl Smith Trucking Company.
Mr Mabee married Caroline M Crull Oct 20, 1906.
He is survived by his widow; a son, Loren E Mabee, Port Huron and two sisters, Mrs Hazel McIntosh, Detroit, and Mrs Ethel Russell, Armada; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, conducted by Rev Gaylord H Brunnell, assistant pastor of First United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.

- Port Huron – Carrie M Mabee, 93, formerly of Fort Street and Glenwood Avenue, died today in St Clair Medical Center after a short illness.
She was born July 26, 1883 in Armada, and was a lifelong Port Huron resident.
She married Issac L Mabee Oct 21, 1907 in Port Huron. He died July 27, 1967.
Mrs Mabee was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by a son, Loren E Mabee, Marysville; two sisters, Mrs Clayton (Nellie) Harbaugh, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs William (Florence) Campbell, Armada.
Services will be Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev J Alton Cressman of First United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery.

- Mrs Lois R Mabie, 81 of Marysville, died Tuesday, December 16, 1977 in Mercy Hospital.
She was born Oct 9, 1916 in Port Huron. She married Loren Mabee on Sept 1, 1951 in Port Huron.
Mrs Mabee retired from Port Huron Equipment Company after many years of service. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the American Heart Association.
She is survived by her husband, Loren; a brother David Firestone of Kalamazoo; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, Dec 22, 1997 in First Presbyterian Church, Port Huron. Dr Mark P Thomas will officiate.

- Loren E Mabee, 84, of Marysville, died Wednesday, Sept 27, 2000.
He was born Aug 16, 1916, on Port Huron. He marries Lois R Firestone in Sept 1, 1915 in Port Huron. She died Dec 16, 1997.
Mr Mabee was a self-employed accountant. He co-founded and was the first president of the Council on Aging. He was involved for over 20 years with the Visiting Nurse Association and was a past president and treasurer. He served on the Marysville Golf Commission for many years and was a long time member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church.
Memorial services will be Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church. Th Rev Dr Mark P Thomas will officiate.
