- Mrs. John Zeithamel and Mrs. George Lewis entertained at an announcement party and miscellaneous shower last evening in honor of Mrs. Donald R. Mabee, formerly Miss Marguerite Zeithamel, whose marriage took place late in August at Denver, Colo. As soon as the guests had arrive, Dorothy Mae Fisher and Bob Fisher, dress as bride and bridegroom, distributed the announcement favors while Mendelssohn's wedding march was played by Helen Murphy. During the remainder of the evening, bridge was played at eight tables and honors for high score were awarded to Miss Marie Phillips. Refreshments were served at the close of the game and a shower of post-nuptial gifts was presented to Mrs. Mabee who will return to Denver next Monday.
