Born in Jefferson Co., OH, employed as a farmer, in Warren Co., IN. Mustered out at the end of the war Sep. 26, 1865 in Indianapolis, IN. Notes: Sent to hospital Jun. 27, 1865 as a Private from 72nd IN Co. F before consolidating into 44th IN on Jul. 1, 1865. No discharge on muster out of organization, but later at Indianapolis. Pickney Maybee's wife, Louisa J., filed Widow's Pension application #561837 Oct. 13, 1892 in MO. (Pinckney, Pickney//Maybee)
