  	Helen L Nichols, the wife of Eli Nichols, was born April 17, 1843, in Friendship, Allegany County, New York. She moved to Missouri about 27 years ago. She was married to Mr Nichols, her present husband, May 22, 1879. Her maiden name was Mabey. She was married twice. She has one living child by her first husband, Mrs A. A. Marshall, of Trenton. Mrs Nichols departed this life May 22, 1895, at the family residence 4 ½ miles southeast of Trenton. The funeral services were conducted the following day... The body was buried at Rural Dale church the same day.
