  	Frederick Harrington died suddenly at his home in Rhinecliff this Friday morning. He had not been feeling well for the past week but had not been confined to his bed. He was born in Vermont, a son of the late Thaddeus Harrington and has lived in Rhinecliff for nearly fifty years. He was a painter by trade. At one time he was employed on the New York and Albany Day Line. Surviving are his wife, who before their marriage was Miss Margaret Maybee of Rhinecliff, two sons, George of Poughkeepsie and Elmor of Rhinecliff and a daughter, Mrs Barzelle Cole of Red Hook. Four grandchildren also survive. Mr. Harrington was a prominent Democrat and for years has been an active worker for his party in Rhinecliff and a member of the election board. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock a t his late home, with the Rev. Mr. Piper, pastor of the Rhinecliff Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Rhinebeck cemetery.
