- Herbert B Ostrom, 47 years old, died this morning at his home in Westover. He is survived by his wife, Lilly A; two sons, Leslie and Edgar Ostrom, both of Westover; a daughter, Mrs Horace Grow [Orris Brown] of Westover; a brother James Ostrom of Johnson City, and two sisters, Mrs Levant Smith of Schoharie county and Mrs Henry Andrews of Vestal. The funeral will be in Floral Park cemetery.

- Mrs Lillie M Ostrom, 83, died 11 pm Monday at 10 South Chestnut Street, New Paltz, NY. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Elting Brown of Owego; two sons, Leslie Ostrom of Syracuse and Edgar Ostrom of Westover; a brother Morton Mabie of Brooksville, Fla; and five grandchildren. The body was moved to the Ivan A Barber & Son Funeral Home, Johnson City.

- Mrs Pearl E Ostrom, 61, of Martinsburg, Pa, formerly of Syracuse, died Saturday at the Nason Hospital, Waring Springs [actually Roaring Spring], Pa. She is survived by her husband, Leslie R Ostrom of Martinsburg; a daughter, Mrs Richard Davis of Homer; three sisters, Mrs Cara Persum of Lyndon, Pa, Mrs Ray Miles of Corning, and Mrs Jessie Messina of Newburg; and a brother, Plamous Loucks of Cedar Run, Pa. She was a member of the Martinsville Presbyterian Church. The body will be brought to the Ivan A Barber & Son Funeral Home, Johnson City, tomorrow.

He was born March 17, 1904 in Westover, New York, a son of Herbert and Lilli (Naybee [sic]) Ostrom. He is survived by daughter Joan Robinson, of Greene, New York; three grandchildren, and one brother, Edgar Ostrom, of Westover, New York.
