  	Jane Elizabeth Mabie died as a result of Cancer on Sunday, September 28, she was surrounded by her family and friends at the time of her passing. Jane is survived by her life partner, Lori Kizzia, her two daughters, Emily Mabie, and Grace Marte. Her parents Dr Richard Mabie and Kathleen Mabie, longtime residents of Claremont, where Jane grew up. Jane is also survived by a large loving family, siblings: Tom Mabie (Rhonda), Laura Mabie (Keith Serxner). Ken Mabie (Patti), Ann DeRuyter (Frank), Mary Platt (Bill), Pete Mabie (Gwen), Bill Mabie (Denise), and Michael Mabie (Nora), and as well 14 beloved nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Jane was a dedicated social worker and served the County of Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services for nearly 25 years. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 4 at All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena.
