  	Mr and Mrs W E Mabie and daughter, Maria were in Knoxville Monday afternoon where they attended the funeral of Mrs Mabie, 78, who died at the Mahaska County hospital at Oskaloosa Saturday where she had been a patient for 2½ weeks. Her home was at Knoxville. Last rites were held at St Anthony's church at Knoxville and burial was at Oskaloosa. Surviving are two sons, W E Mabie of Williamsburg, and John Mabie of Springfield, Ill; one daughter, Mrs Eugene Speed of Knoxville; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two sisters an a brother.

Services Thursday at Faith United Presbyterian Church. Interment Sunland Memorial Church.
