- Ira Merle Mabie, 75, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at his home in Isabel, Kansas. He was born December 14, 1935 in Yates Center, Kansas the son of Horace and Mabel (Paul) Mabie. A resident of Isabel since 1963, he was retired from the Farmer's Coop at Isabel. He was a member of American Legion, Pratt, KS, Sons of Legionnaires, was a former City Council Member in Isabel, and was past Fire Chief at Isabel. He was a US Navy Veteran.
On August 23, 1960 he married Loretta Jamison at Eureka, KS. She survives. Other survivors include a son Tony (Misty) Mabie, Fort Worth, TX; four daughters, Sharyl Mabie, Medicine Lodge, KS; Diana Mabie, Pratt, KS; Lisa (Tim) Gray, Arkansas City, KS; Regina (Virgil) Shields, Derby, KS; a sister Wilma Joyner, Florida; 8 Grandchildren, Krista, Justin, Cory, Cortney, Tyler, Brandie, Heaven and Preston, and 3 Great Grandchildren, Colton, Cali, and Kaylee. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Warren, Homer, and Junior Mabie. Visitation will be from 1:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS 67124. Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19, 2011 at the mortuary with John Hamm officiating. Burial will be at Isabel Cemetery, with military honors provided by the US Navy Honor Guard.

- Sharyl LeeAnn Mabie, age 50, died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Dec. 6, 1960, in Excelsior Springs, Mo., the daughter of Merle and Loretta Jamison Mabie.
Sharyl was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pratt.
Survivors include her mother, Loretta Mabie of Isabel; three sisters, Diana Mabie of Isabel, Lisa (Tim) Gray of Arkansas City, and Regina (Virgil) Shields of Derby; a brother Tony (Misty) Mabie of Ft. Worth, Texas, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merle Mabie, and a grandmother, Lois Jamison.
Visitation will be held 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at the mortuary with John Hamm officiating. Burial will be at Isabel Cemetery, Isabel

- ISABEL, KS – Loretta M Mabie, 79, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at Pratt Health and Rehab. She was born on May 3, 1943 in Anthony to Hershel and Lois (Lynam) Jamison. Loretta married Ira Merle Mabie on August 23, 1960 in Eureka. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2011. Loretta worked as a CNA and Ward Clerk for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitch, reading, square dancing, playing dominos and yahtzee, fishing, camping, children's activities, sports and rodeos. She is survived by her children, Diana Mabie of Isabel, Lisa (Tim) Gray of Arkansas City, Tony (Kay Woods) Mabie of San Antonio, Texas and Regina (Virgil) Shields of Derby; brother, Robert (Kristi) Jamison of Salina; sisters, Peggy Scullawl of Dodge City and Beverly (Bill) Becker of Isabel; grandchildren, Krista (Chris) Davidson, Justin (Madi) Trott, Brandie (Jacob) Smith, Heaven Mabie, Preston Mabie, Cory Shields, Cortney Shields, Tyler (Krystal) Beat, Pete Shields and Angie (Chris) Stump; and 13 great-grandchildren with another on the way. Loretta is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Merle Mabie; parents; daughter, Sharyl Mabie; and sister, Debra Jamison. Visitation will be Monday, October 3, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Larrison Mortuary with John Hamm presiding. Burial will follow at Isabel Cemetery, Isabel.
