  	Geraldine A. (Mabie) Burnham, 80, died Tuesday (October 19, 2010) at the DeMay Living Center with her family by her side. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 21) at St. Michael Church, 401 S. Main St., Newark. A Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday (Oct. 22) at St. Michael Church. Burial will follow in Newark Cemetery. In memory of Mrs. Burnham, please consider donations to St. Michael Church or St. Michael School, 320 S. Main St., Newark, 14513. Mrs. Burnham was born on September 2, 1930, in Lyons, the daughter of the late Cyril and Pauline (Weber) Mabie. She attended Clyde High School, the class of 1947. Mrs. Burnham received her associate degree from the University of Buffalo. She and her husband were founders of Burnhams Red Rooster Restaurant in 1969. They were also founders of Burnhams Hidden Treasures and known in the community as "the" antique dealers. A long time member of St. Michael Church, she served on the Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Wayne County Historical Society, the Wayne County Antique Society and served on the Wayne County Board of Election. Mrs. Burnham loved her husband, children and grandchildren and always looked forward to spending time with them. Mrs. Burnham will be remembered by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert W. Burnham; sons: Thomas (Gail), Marcus, David (Terri), Jonathan, Gerald, Bradford (Betty) and "Buster" (Robert Basil) Burnham; daughters: Cynthia (Paul) Preedeedilok, Laure (Larry) Hironimus and Mary Grace Schmidt; 13 grandchildren; sisters: Kathryn VanHall, Rosemarie Salmon and Priscilla (Robert) Paliotti; and many nieces and nephews.

  	One of the prettiest weddings of the season occurred in Newark on Monday morning when Miss Pauline Weber, daughter of Mrs. Catherine Weber of Newark, became the wife of Cyril Mabie. Son of Mr. and Mrs George Mabie. of Clyde. The beautiful ceremony was performed at 8.30 in St. Michael's Catholic Church, by Rev J. A. Gibbons. The bride was attired in a charming gown of pale green georgette, trimmed with rhinestones. She wore a white picture hat and carried a shower bouquet of lilies-of-the-valley, orchids, sweet peas and bride's roses, caught with ribbon streamers. She was attended by her sister. Miss Eva Weber, who wore a stunning creation of orchid crepe, trimmed with grey fur. She also wore a grey picture hat and carried a shower bouquet of butterfly roses, orchids and sweet peas. Mr. Edward Fraher, of Rochester, formerly of Clyde, was best man. The groom's present to the bride and to the bridesmaid was each a string of pearls. To the best man he presented a watch chain of white gold. Following the ceremony the bridal party, immediate relatives, Rev. Gibbons, and Mrs. E. J. Rigney of Rochester, enjoyed a wedding breakfast at the home of the bride's mother. After this event, the bride and groom came to Clyde for a short visit before leaving on a honeymoon motor trip to the Adirondacks. Mrs. Mabie wore a traveling suit of navy blue, with hat to match. Upon their return, Mr. and Mrs. Mabie will reside in Newark.
