  	LeRoy Maybie, 52. a former resident of Walton, died at Fox Hospital, Oneonta, yesterday after an illness of a few hours. He was born in Prattsville, April 2, 1899. son of Charles and Grace (Smith) Maybie Mr. Maybie was a salesman for the Drake Clothing Company of Oneonta. He made his home in Oneonta since 1935, previously living at Walton and Delhi. On Dec. 31, 1938, he married the former Mellicent Utter, He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Oneonta, and the Oneonta Lions Club. Surviving are his wife and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Maybie of Walton. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow at the Lyon Brothers Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Harold C. Buckingham, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Oneonta, and the Rev Henry G. Lincoln, pastor of the First Methodist Church, Walton, will officiate. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.
