Frederick W Mabie, Jr, 64, of 27 Willard St, Pompton Lakes, died Tuesday at his residence after a brief illness.Mr Mabie, a native of Pompton Lakes was a self-employed decorator and painting contractor before his retirement two years ago. He was a member of the Pompton Lakes Reformed Church.
 Funeral services will be Friday in the Richards Funeral Home, Riverdale, with the Rev William Gaston, assistant pastor of the Pompton Lakes Reformed Church officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
 Mr Mabie is survived by his wife, the former Georgianna Shenise; six sisters, Mrs Charles (Edith) Hunt, Mrs Jane Ricks, and Mrs Roy (Nettie) Gildersleeve, all of the borough, Mrs Andrew (Margaret) Hunt of Wyckoff, Mrs Pearl De Groat of California, and Miss Eva Mabie of Towaco, and several nieces and nephews
