- On October 30, 2011, Mrs Alice Grasley of Sherwood Park, AB formerly of Qu'Appelle, SK., passed away peacefully at the age of 94. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Dawn, and Son-in-Law Michael Brings; her two grandsons, Edward and Alexander Brings and the many others to whom she was Grandma Alice.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles Grasley, parents Mabel and Gordon Mabe, sisters Pearl Lyons, Edna Mabe, bothers John and Douglas Mabe. Alice's final resting place will be with her husband Charles, following a Graveside Internment Service to be held on May 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Regina, Sk. with Rev. Susanne Edgar officiating. Deeply felt thanks must go to Strathcona County Home Care Center, who did their best to keep Alice in her home until the end. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Alice also requested that flowers be sent to Senors homes, just to let them know they are remembered
