- DINSMORE, Edward Wellington "Ted" - (Retired Journalist and Photographer with the Toronto Star, Veteran of WWII Royal Canadian Navy, lifelong passionate sailor and member of the Oakville Yacht Squadron). Peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2001 surrounded by family at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Ted in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Madden). Dear father of Maureen Bell and her husband Gary, Sean and his wife Deb, Kevin and his wife Karen, Kelly and her husband Nikolas Klemarow, Pat and his wife Pam, Denis and his wife Erica, Tracey Galloway and her husband Conrad. Loving Papa of Timothy, Patrick, Chelsea, Brendan, Evan, Liam, Mackenzie, Kiera, Kate and Kennedy. Brother of Bill and his wife Evelyn, and the late Frances Malmsten. Son of the late Edward Jackson Dinsmore and Isabel Maybee. Will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada, Ireland and the British Virgin Islands. Funeral mass took place at St. James Parish, Oakville, Ontario on Monday, January 29th. Cremation. May you have a safe and pleasant journey with fair winds.

Peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018 the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 93rd year surrounded by her family. Theresa Mary (Madden), born in St. John's Newfoundland March 25, 1926. Daughter of the late Samuel Madden and Catherine McCormack, predeceased by fifteen brothers and sisters. Theresa, beloved wife of the late Edward (Ted). Dear mother of Maureen Bell (Gerrit Bijl), Sean (Deb), Kevin (Karen), Kelly (Paul Dias), Pat (Pam), Denis (Erica), and Tracey Galloway (Conrad). Loving grandmother of Timothy, Patrick, Chelsea, Brendan, Evan, Liam, Mackenzie, Kiera, Kate and Kennedy. She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, family and friends in Canada, Ireland and the British Virgin Islands. Long-time member of the St. James Parish Choir. Visitation at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, November 7 and from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm Thursday, November 8. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. James Parish, 231 Morden Road, Oakville at 11 am. Interment St. Judes Cemetery. Reception to follow.
