- Haledon – George Mabie, 84, died Sunday in Wayne General Hospital.
Born in Preakness, he lived in Haledon for 44 years.
Mr Mabie was a driver for Charles White Co, Glen Rock, before retiring in 1967.
Survivors include his wife, the former, Helen Moorhouse, and a brother Herbert "Pete" Mabie of San Diego, Calif.
Services are Friday at Minchin Funeral Home, Paterson
