- Faye Torrey, 99, was born in Caldwell, ID April 23, 1919 the only child of Charles Jensen and Florence Lewison Jensen and passed at home Sept. 8, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Faye's early years were spent primarily in the Caldwell area graduating from Caldwell High School in 1935 at age 16 and moving to Boise to attend Business school. She married Clyde Torrey Aug 24, 1939 in Emmett, ID.
Faye resided in Boise all of her adult life where she and Clyde raised their family.
She always thought the best of everyone and her door was open to all.
Faye is survived by her children Doug (Donna) Torrey, Gordon (Claudia) Torrey, Marti (Craig) Stines of Boise, ID. Julie (Don) Burrow of Nampa, ID. and Son-in-law Richard Snyder of Rockwall, TX. along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, husband Clyde (1995) and daughter Beverly Snyder (Mar. 2018).
