  	A Young Man Dead Wesson Mauk died at his home in Penfield Oct. 10, 1903. Aged 30 years 5 months and 9 days. He leaves a wife, a mother, one brother and several sisters to mourn his demise. Mr. Mauk came here a short time ago to work in the mines. His honest, pleasing disposition soon won him many friends and on July 4th he was married to Miss Ella Hollinshead of this place. The young couple just nicely started housekeeping when he was stricken with typhoid fever which caused his death. His wife also has the fever and is still quite sick. The funeral was held on Sunday in the M.E. church and was largely attended. The U.M.W. of A. were present in a body. Rev. J.R. Ebner and Director Joyce were in charge
