Di passed away comfortably at Douglas Memorial Hospital on March 28, 2024 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Lorene and Donald Mabee, sister and best friend Katherine (Bill) and her brother-in-law Jim Teal. Survived by her children Jason (Lesley) Jacobi, Mindy (Rob) Marjerrison and their father Fred Jacobi. Adoring grandmother to Grace, Jordan, Jake, Faith, Kendall and Hanna; brothers Doug (Nancy) & Paul (Nikki) and sister Shelley as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dad for supporting Mom and being there for her until the end and to Dr. Scher and staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital for your care and comfort. The family will hold a small, private Celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Fort Erie SPCA as Di’s love for her pets was boundless.
