- Peter Mabie and his wife Jannetje Hogencamp lived on a farm along the north side of present Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge [NJ] and River Vole, and were the parents of Abraham, Casparus, Isaac and Mindert. Members of the outlaw gangs used the farm as a stopping place, where, caves were dug for their use.

- Will of Peter Mabee, dated 3/25/1769, proved 7/8/1772, names his wife Cathalinte, his brother Johannes, his eldest son Casparus, sons Peter, Joost, Jeremiah, Abraham, and youngest son Cornelius, and daughters Elizabeth (wife of Abraham Harring), Sophia (wife of Johannes De Lamater) and Mary (wife of John Westervelt). NOT mentioned: Johannes and Rachel. Also named as executor is "my loving brother Johannes". Note that Johannes was still alive, and served as an executor, when the will was proved in July 1772.

Not mentioned: sons Peter and Martinus.
