  	On January 1, 2014, the six loving daughters of Barbara Maybee Carter are sad to announce the loss of their beloved mother. When Barbara was called to be with the Lord, she was surrounded by her loving family. Though born on February 6, 1932 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, she spent the majority of her life raising her family in the Seattle/Puget Sound area. Barbara leaves behind her sisters, Judy Bell, Deborah Larson, Delsa Daniels; brothers, John Maybee and Duane Stark; sister-in-law, Zina Maybee; daughters, Allyn (Bill) Hamblin, Loretta (Dan) Course, Valerie Waldean, Babette Cook, Leesa Brown and Markay (Dennis) Kern. She was also graced with 25 grandchildren, a slew of great grand children, as well as one great great grand child. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Eric Maybee and Rita Maybee Stark; as well as her beloved sister, Belva Perry; brothers, Bill Maybee and Joe Stark. Though she has left us, she can rest assured that her sense of humor and love for life will live on through those she raised, guided throughout her life, and kept us, as always, Maybee strong. Services will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2014 1:00 p.m. at the LDS church, 9509 19th Ave SE in Everett. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
