  	Mrs Lillian Maybee, 35, of 70 William St., [Gouverneur], died Sunday at Edward John Noble Hospital where she had been a patient about four weeks. Mrs Maybee was born in Liverpool, England, July 5 1914, daughter of James and Margaret Fraser Copple. She came to the United States in 1923 and lived in Talcville until 1931, On Nov 29, 1931 she was married to Harold (sic) [should be Leon] Maybee of Gouverneur. She was a member of the Una Rebekah Lodge Surviving, besides her husband are her mother, Mrs Margaret Melrose, three sisters, Mrs Martin Hassett, Ms Margaret Mullen and Mrs Eroile Abbott of Gouverneur, and a half-brother, Hubert Melrose of Washington, D. C. Funeral services will be held today at 2:30 P.M. from the Burr & Green funeral home in Park St., with the Rev. Harold A. Thomas, pastor of First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Hailesboro Cemetery
