- Mrs. Mary Frances Mabie of 18 Rose street, widow of Charles E. Mabie, who celebrated her 90th birthday last November 15, died last night at her home. In an interview given on her 90th birthday Mrs. Mabie told viewing the body of President Lincoln, soon after his assassination.
Mrs. Mabie, who was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Meddaugh, was a native of this city. She was a member of the Washington Street, M. E. church. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Cora F. Quien and Josephine Mabie, both of 18 Rose street, and Charles Mabie of Kelsey road.
Funeral services will be held at her late home Saturday afternoon at 2 with the Rev. A. George Feare of the Trinity M. E. church officiating. Burial will be in the Manchester cemetery in charge of Willard C. Selfridge, undertaker.

- Josephine Mabie. a former local resident who had been employed as an attendant at the Wassaic State school since its opening, died there this morning after a short illness.
Born in Sharon, the daughter of the late Charles L. and Mary Meddaugh Mabie, Miss Mabie had spent the greater part of her life in this city.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Cora F. Quien of 18 Rose street, this city; a brother, Charles V. Mabie of this city and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will bo held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of her sister, with Dr. Claude C Coile, pastor of Trinity Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Manchester cemetery, under the direction of A. Raymond Barrett
