  Married: In a quiet ceremony in the rectory of St. Johns Catholic Church, Clyde, Miss Rose Marie Mabie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Mabie of Clyde, and John Salmon, son of Mr. and Mrs Frank Salmon of Rose Road, Clyde, were united in marriage Saturday morning. Feb. 27, at 11 o'clock, the Rev. J . V. Curtin officiating. Miss Patricia Dapolito of Clyde and Pvt. Richard Gibbons of New York City were the couple's attendants. The bride wore an original French suit in beige with brown accessories and corsage of purple violets and a white rose. The bridal party dined at the Rainbow Inn in Newark, then returned to Clyde for an informal reception for some fifty friends and relatives at the Hoy apartment on Glasgow Street from 2 to 5 o'clock. Guests were present from Rochester, Geneva. Newark and Lyons. After a brief trip the couple will reside in the Hoy apartment until May 1. The bride is a graduate of Clyde Central School and studied at William Smith College in Geneva. At present she is employed at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. The groom, also a graduate of CCS, served in the Army in the European Theatre of Operations for almost three years.
