- Lands to my niece, Stella Young, wife of George Young, Phelham, gardener, and at her death the land is to go to her eldest daughter Phebe Ellen.
I give the right of John Maybee to reside in the house if he survives me, this provision is not to include his support. My personal property to my niece Stella Young. Pay to niece Maggie Couley wife of Morse Couley - $3,000.00 and pay to my sister Harriet, wife of Charles Thompson, $3,000.00 and pay to my sister Hannah [widow of Jacob Wiley] $1,000.00.
At the age of 21, Phebe Ellen Young, is to receive $3,000.00. I have advanced and lent to my said husband John, upwards of $50.00 [Nellie's board for 1 year and 8 months], which he used for the support of his daughter Nellie. My executor is not to collect that money provided my husband makes no claim for fuel or wheat.
