- Herbert Russell Mabie of 23 Linden Street died Saturday night at his, home after a short illness. He was forty-eight.
Mr. Mabie was born in Yonkers, a son of the late Frederick and Martha Chappell Mabie. He married the former Emily Smith of Yonkers, who survives him, about 19 years ago.
Besides his wife, Mr. Mabie leaves two brothers, Winfield and Frederick Mabie of Yonkers; four sisters, Mrs. Robert Cowan and Mrs. Charles McGuigan of Yonkers. Mrs. Lyman Ingraham of Oxford. N. Y„ and Mrs. Jesse Ferguson of Hastings, three- nephews and four nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Havey Funeral Home, 107 North Broadway, tomorrow at 2:30
P. M., by the Rev. Llewellyn O. Diplock, rector of Christ Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery

- Frederick J. Mabie, a retired pipefitter, who was employed last by the Poirier and McLane Corporation, building contractors here, was found dead in his bed Sunday morning at his home, 195 Woodworth Avenue. He lived there with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bresnahan.
He was born here fifty-eight years ago. In 1922, he married the former Mary Reagan. Besides his wife and daughter. Mr. Mabie leaves another daughter, Mrs. William Cabral of Bethel, Conn.; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Ferguson, Mrs. Charles McGuigan and Mrs. Robert Cowan, all of Yonkers, and Mrs. Minnie Ingram of Oxford, N.Y., and three grandchildren
