He is survived by his wife, Janice McNicol (nee Burns); children, Ross McNicol II, Daniel McNicol, Milinda McNicol and Victoria McNicol; sister, Kay (Ron) Beasley; and two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, John Ross and Katherine (nee Harris) McNicol; and grandson, Anthony McNicol.
A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (three blocks east of Van Dyke), Utica, with the Rev. William Lawrence officiating. Burial will be private.3

(Witness) oObit10 December 1969 Agnes Sigerer was mentioned in the obituary of Thomas John Mabee on 10 December 1969 at Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York; Thomas J. Mabee, 81, of 268 Guy Park Ave., was dead on arrival at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital this morning at 4 o'clock, where he was taken by GAVAC after being stricken at his home. Mr. Mabee was born in Amsterdam on Oct. 17, 1888, the son of James N. and Anna Waterstreet Mabee. A plumber by trade, and a member, of the Plumbers' Union, he was first associated with his father in a plumbing shop on former Spring Street, then in 1914, became employed by various out of state construction companies. He returned to Amsterdam seven years' ago. Survivors include his wife, the former Agnes Sigerer, to whom he was married on July 4, 1911; one son. James J. Mabee, Schenectady; three grandchildren, Mrs. Richard Patrick, Westmere; Thomas Mabee, Selkirk, and Richard Mabee, Colonie; and six great-grandchildren; also a brother, William Mabee, Glen Wild; two sisters, Mrs. George Adams and Miss Ritie Mabee, both of Amsterdam; and several nieces and nephews.7 
Death*14 January 1989 Agnes Sigerer died on 14 January 1989 at age 99.2
