Mr Mabie died Tuesday after a short illness. He was born in Ramsey and lived in Mahwah most of his life.
Surviving Mr Mabie are his wife, Anna M Mabie; two daughters, Mrs Bessie Frederick and Mrs Ella Breen, both of Mahwah; a son Henry Mabie, of Fardale; a sister, Mrs Frank Frederick of Stroudaburg, Pa, a brother William Mabie of Paramus and three granddaughters.4

Born in New York City, she lived here six years, before that residing in Paramus. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity RC Church. Mrs Mabie was a member of the same church's Rosary Society and a member of the Senior Citizens of Hackensack.
She is survived by two sons, Edward of Rochelle Park and George V of Ridgewood; two daughters Mrs Irene Belasko of Maywood and Mrs Evelyn Nesmith of California; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and one brother Herman Barthlemes of Dover.
The funeral will be held tomorrow.13
