Note | | Uncle Lorne never married. homsteaded in California on a mountain over looking Las Angeles. The land didn't have water on it, but when he got out of the army they gave him the title to it. The land is still in the family. He later moved to Washington and homesteded near Shelton. Later he and Grandpa Duncomb had a farm near Woodland on south hill above Puyallup. He lived the latter part of his life with Grandma Bandy at Summit View also on South Hill, until her death, then with Paul and Viola Anderson. He worked most of his life for a grain storage in Tacoma. Was buried in Mountain View Memorial Park in Tacoma, Washington. Member of Temple Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington.1 |
