Bill was a longtime member of Boxley Baptist Church where he was baptized August of 1952. He married Dean Villines November 13, 1948, in Ponca, officiated by Bill's grandfather, Lester Young. He was a member of the United States Navy having served during World War II. After returning home, he farmed, worked in the timber industry, and retired after 13 years with the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department. In his free time, Bill enjoyed socializing with his many friends and family.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Dean Duty, of the home; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will dearly miss his visits.3

A gathering at the Alpena Pass Café will follow after services on Friday.5

On April 12, 1992, Cindy married Jim "Slim" Brundrett.
In 1999, Cindy and Jim moved to Alpena, where her family lived. Cindy enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher at the Green Forest Methodist Church and had been employed as a respite caregiver for a number of people in the local community, until the time of her illness.
Cindy was preceded in death by a sister, Lynn Anne Hopper, Alpena; and her father, Jack Madden, Moline.
She is survived by her mother, Lottie Maybee Becker; a daughter, Margaret (Randy) Stockwell, Matherville; sons, Donald (Michelle) Fulscher, Moline, and Jack (Traci) Fulscher, Rock Island. Both husbands survived Cindy. Cindy had 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and a large extended family.1
