He later left there and folllowed his occupation of miller in other parts of the state, and returned about 10 years ago and was employed as a rural mail carrier until called by death. He is survived by a wife, two sons and two daughters, besides two sisters, Mrs Herbert Johnson of Stillwater and Mrs Frank Frye of Elk River, and one brother Geo. Staples of Princeton. Mr Staples was a truly good man — honest, industrious, and a kind husband and father. He was highly respected in the community and had a host of friends.4 |
