David attended Fort Collins Highschool in Ft. Collins Colorado and graduated in 1959 where he enlisted into the Army. He was assigned to the 1st Field Artillery Battalion 11th Artillery "Operation Spearhead" where he drove Army Tanks. Towards the end of his time in the Amy and drove the jeep for Lt. Col. William F. Wadsworth. He was honorably discharged in 1961. After coming home from the Army, David married his high school sweetheart Lynee and had 4 children and is survived by Victor, Michael, and Allyson. He enjoyed playing Golf and played many courses over the United States. He ran major corporations for several years. He was a General Manager of Coca-Cola and Vice President of Coors Distributing. Coors Distributing led him to a new beginning in Oklahoma where he fell in love not only with the State but the people as well. Retiring in 2007, he found his true passion which was the love of riding a Harley Davidson. His riding buddies gave him the handle "Einstein" due to his last name being "Albright". He took to the road and traveled over a hundred thousand miles throughout the United States. As years passed, he found himself enjoying his time at home focusing on his family, friends and his faith. He had no regrets, nothing unfinished, tackled all obstacles head on, and he gave nothing less than 110% in everything he accomplished. To our dad, F & A…. NAILED IT! Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Fort Logan National Cemetery located at 4400 West Kenyon Avenue in Denver, Colorado.1 |
