Mabee, wife of Martin Mabee, died at her home in Lafayette, Wed. of the past week from a complication of diseases at the age of 69. A son and a daughter, Frank Mabee and Miss Clara Mabee survive her. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at her late home. Interment was made in North Church. The death of Mrs. Martin B. Mabee, occured on Wednesday evening last at her home, after being in ill health for several yeas. Mrs. Mabee was 69 years and 22 days old and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ketmah Roe, and was born at Harmony Vale, where she spent nearly all her life, only since residing in Lafayette. She had been a member of the Methodist Church most all her life and for years a member of the Ladies Aid, which remembered her with a beautiful floral piece. She is survived by her husband and by one son Frank of this town, and by one daughter, Clara, at home, and by two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Mabee of Newton and Mrs. John Wickham of Beaver run, and by one brother, Charles Roe, of Harmony Vale, and by five grandchildren. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at her home. Rev. Harry and Rev. T. Marvin officiated. The carriers were: John D. Ackerson, R.J. Blauvelt, C.E. Mackerly, Peter Simmons, G.E.Ingersoll and R.E. Everett. Internment at the North Church cemetery."14 |

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at her late home. Interment was made in North Church. The death of Mrs. Martin B. Mabee, occured on Wednesday evening last at her home, after being in ill health for several yeas. Mrs. Mabee was 69 years and 22 days old and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Ketmah Roe, and was born at Harmony Vale, where she spent nearly all her life, only since residing in Lafayette. She had been a member of the Methodist Church most all her life and for years a member of the Ladies Aid, which remembered her with a beautiful floral piece. She is survived by her husband and by one son Frank of this town, and by one daughter, Clara, at home, and by two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Mabee of Newton and Mrs. John Wickham of Beaver run, and by one brother, Charles Roe, of Harmony Vale, and by five grandchildren. The funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at her home. Rev. Harry and Rev. T. Marvin officiated. The carriers were: John D. Ackerson, R.J. Blauvelt, C.E. Mackerly, Peter Simmons, G.E.Ingersoll and R.E. Everett. Internment at the North Church cemetery."12 |

He was the recipient of two Distinguished Flying Crosses, a Purple Heart, and an Air Medals, with One Silver and Two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters. He was former vice president of the 93rd Bomb Group, Second Air Division, a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3401 in Morris Plains, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2833 in Kenvil, the NRA, FOP Lodge 18, Acacia Masonic Lodge, and NARFE Chapter 424. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; his son, Harold of Mount Arlington; his brother Martin of Lafayette; his sister, Mary Bowman of Silver Springs, Fla; his grand children, Deana M Glory of Independence, and Brian of Somerset; and his one great-grandchild, Matthew Glory. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 7, at 3 p.m. at the Wharton United Presbyterian Church where he was a member.5 |

Mrs. Kinney held a long and dedicated physical education position at Stillwater Township School where she was beloved by her students. She was a lifelong member of the Lafayette Federated Church where she married the love of her life, Jim Kinney on April 27, 1968. Lillian was also a certified swimming instructor, teaching swimming lessons at a number of venues around the county for most of her adult life. Lillian loved gardening, planting hundreds of flowers around her home and an abundant vegetable garden in her back yard each year. Lillian loved jogging, square dancing, bike rides, Cape May, her red Mustang, hazelnut gelato and any opportunity just to sit outside in the sun. She is survived by her brother, Dennis Mabee and his wife Susan of Cheshire, Connecticut, her son Jay Kinney, her daughter, Kerry Kinney, son-in-law, Gil Bakal, grandsons, Fisher Bakal and Miles Bakal, all of New York City, her nieces, Sue Stone, Lori Vanstone and Karen Mabee, her nephews, Peter Vanstone, Rich Vanstone, Tom Vanstone, Mike Mabee and her cherished black Labrador, Ricochet. He was former vice president of the 93rd Bomb Group, Second Air Division, a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3401 in Morris Plains, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2833 in Kenvil, the NRA, FOP Lodge 18, Acacia Masonic Lodge, and NARFE Chapter 424. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; his son, Harold of Mount Arlington; his brother Martin of Lafayette; his sister, Mary Bowman of Silver Springs, Fla; his grand children, Deana M Glory of Independence, and Brian of Somerset; and his one great-grandchild, Matthew Glory. He was born and raised in Dover and lived in Mount Arlington for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War in the 1st Calvary Division and earned two Bronze Stars and many other medals. He earned his bachelor of science degree from Lincoln Memorial University and his master's degree in biology from East Tennessee State University. He was a microbiologist and chemist of perfumes at Disperse Technologies in Paramus before retiring in 2007. He was a devoted member and Past Commander of the Kenvil V F W Post 2833 and was the current District 10 Commander of the State of N J. He was also a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, camping, and canoeing, and was a member of the Knee Deep Club and enjoyed fishing on Lake Hopatcong. He was a loving family man who cherished his wife and children. He gave much of his life to his community and charitable organizations and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Susan A. Nesbihal, of 43 years, son Brian Mabee of New York City, daughter Deanna and her husband Christopher Glory of Independence Township. He also leaves his mother Dorothy Mabee of Port Richey, Fla., and grandson Matthew Glory of Independence Township.
